Toyota has agreed to sell cars to a US firm for $50 billion, the company announced on Wednesday.
The automaker announced the deal with Kia and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to supply a variety of parts for its upcoming cars in 2020.
The deal is valued at $50bn, according to the company.
Toyota will sell its cars in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Toyota’s announcement comes as US companies and consumers are growing increasingly concerned about climate change and other issues.
President Donald Trump has been accused of creating a “war on coal” and has proposed cutting carbon emissions, although he has also been vocal about pursuing the Paris climate accord.
